Launderette, the highly anticipated neighborhood cafe and grocery store, is inching closer towards opening. A tipster alerted Eater Austin to a notice for "mixed beverage permit & a food & beverage certificate" that was seen posted on the restaurant’s fence that he sent along:

The project, helmed by chefs Rene Ortiz and Laura Sawicki, has been expected to open sometime this year. The duo previewed the neighborhood cafe and grocery store’s menu earlier in the fall at a Tribeza Style Week dinner.

Eater reached out to Launderette for more information, but hasn’t heard anything back at this time. If anyone has anymore information, please let us know on the tipline.
