Eater's restaurant of the year Odd Duck premiered a rather unorthodox menu item yesterday — pig ear and cricket tacos. Chef Bryce Gilmore likes to work with unexpected ingredients in new ways, like chicken-fried fish heads or foie gras sundaes, so insects in a tortilla can't be completely unexpected.

Fans of the South Lamar eatery seemed to dig the dish on Facebook.
