Pleasant Storage Room, the Caribbean-inspired bar that brought overproof rum punches and ceviche to West Fourth Street earlier this spring, will shut down, according to an email Eater received from an official email address. Because bar manager Alfonso Hernandez and chef Paul Hargrove left the bar to pursue other ventures, "the ownership has decided to close and move on with plans to reopen at a later date," as stated in the email. The initial email did not state when the bar would close, or whether they plan to reopen in the current location. Eater has reached out for clarification; watch this space for updates.
