There's a new pizza trailer in town: 40 North made its debut this week in a small food trailer park on South First, continuing the Italian theme established by existing tenant Regal Ravioli. Specializing in Neapolitan-style pies cooked in a wood-fired oven, the trailer offers classic topping combos like the tomato and basil margherita as well as more creative concoctions like the Hot Honey, made with spicy coppa, ricotta, and Mike's Hot Honey, a chili-infused honey made in Brooklyn. There's also a kale pie with house sausage, Calabrian chiles, and garlic, and the website promises more daily specials and desserts.
40 North is now open Tuesday through Saturday from 6-10 p.m.; they also do Saturday lunch service from noon-3 p.m.
