Just like the swift announcement of Chi'Lantro moving into the A-OK Chinese address, former co-owner of the shuttered space John Bullington isn't wasting any time starting his next project. Bullington writes to Eater that he is "super excited" for Chi'Lantro owner Jae Kim to move into the space and is certain they will do well in the location.
Bullington also reveals he is joining the coffeehouse Austin Java team to develop their menu and work towards making "their kitchens top notch." With several locations, taking over menu and kitchen management for Austin Java could be a mammoth task for some, but Bullington is an industry vet with several years of experience working for the high-volume outfit the Alamo Drafthouse as their executive chef.
