The highly anticipated opening of The Peached Tortilla’s brick and mortar will happen very soon at 5520 Burnet Road. It’s an Austin tale as old as time: The popularity of Eric Silverstein’s truck, which he started in 2010, exploded so much that he opened a second truck a year later. That one did so well that the physical restaurant followed. As a lead-up to the impending opening, the truck tested out dishes during a series of pop-up dinners.
The Burnet Road restaurant will expand the current Asian and Southern menu, including their hit go-to items, as well as include a full bar. Eater photographer Robert J.
