'Southern Living' Hires a South Carolina-Based Barbecue Editor

Barbecue editors are the new 'it' job.

Nadia Chaudhury is the editor of Eater Austin covering food and pop culture, as well as a photographer, writer, and frequent panel moderator and podcast guest.

Texas Monthly made waves when they hired Daniel Vaughn as their barbecue editor, and now Southern Living joining in on the trend. They've hired Robert Moss as their new contributing barbecue editor. Moss wrote two books, Barbecue: The History of an American Institution and soon-to-be-published The Barbecue Lover’s Carolinas. Perhaps now the Carolina's pork-based smokey meats will get the same obsessive media attention as Texas's brisket. Head on over to the Eater National mothership for more details.
