Downtown's crazy sausage geniuses Frank will bring their housemade hot dogs, waffle fries, and other delights to San Antonio, according to The Statesman. They will take over a historic church and restaurant space in the Southtown neighborhood:

Frank co-owner Daniel Northcutt will be moving with his family to San Antonio to oversee the opening, which is slated to happen in the spring. The historic church was previously home to a number of businesses, including most recently, the San Antone Café.

Co-owner Geoff Preveto shares some more details with Eater in an emailed statement:

We had an opportunity to move into a really amazing space. After meeting with members of the King William community and checking out the really cool things happening there it made sense to us. San Antonio has a great history and the Southtown area was once called "Sauerkraut Bend" so bringing sausage and beer to South Alamo is a natural fit for us.
