Cranky Houston pitmaster Ronnie Killen took to the internet to run a price check on La Barbecue, Franklin Barbecue, and Pecan Lodge after customers complained about his pricey brisket. Turns out, all four of these barbecue hotspots charge similar prices for meat by the pound. In an ensuing Twitter conversation, La Barbecue mentioned beef ribs are so expensive they might start offering them at "market price." It's not just brisket that ain't cheap.
@la_Barbecue @EaterDallas @PecanLodge @FranklinBbq @EaterHouston Great idea!
