Diwali Night at Frank Tomorrow; Kristine Kittrell Makes Moves at Weather Up; Green Corn Project

Boggy Creek will host lots of Austin's best chefs on Sunday.

DOWNTOWN — The hot dog geniuses at Frank will host a Diwali Night tomorrow starting at 9 p.m.. There will be Indian-inspired food and drink, classic cricket matches, and much more. [Eaterwire]

EAST CESAR CHAVEZ — Longtime local chef Kristine Kittrell is stepping up her role at cocktail bar Weather Up. In addition to serving as their executive chef, she'll take on the role of general manager, and will be doing more on the cocktail side of things. EAST SIDE — Local urban farm Boggy Creek will host their annual Green Corn Project on Sunday, October 26 from noon - 4p.m. The event will feature many of Austin's best restaurants including Odd Duck, Dai Due, and Lenoir. Tickets are $35 in advance or $40 at the door. [Eaterwire]
