The sidewalk-less Rainey Street is awfully dangerous when scores of drunk people are wandering the streets. Soon, that will be less of a problem. Construction to create sidewalks in the area began today on Davis Lane, according to KXAN. The renovation is part of the city’s sidewalk master plan to help improve the quality of life in the city, enacted in 2008. This specific stage of development is expected to end by the end of the month, but further changes won’t be completed until the end of this year.
