Wine & Swine to Get Meaty & Boozy in Hill Country; Tickets on Sale Now

Chefs from Austin and around Texas will take part in a pig roast to benefit culinary grants.

Pork and wine lovers, this one's for you: tickets for fundraiser Wine & Swine go on saletoday. The event will preview new restaurants like Wu Chow, Angry Bear, and Counter 3. Five. VII, and showcase some of Austin's best chefs like Andrew Wiseheart, Janina O'Leary, Jason Stude and Kristine Kittrell. Out-of-town guests include Steve McHugh from San Antonio's Cured and John Tesar from Knife in Dallas.

The event will be held on Sunday, November 23 from 1-4 p.m. at Star Hill Ranch on Hamilton Pool Road. Early bird tickets are $70; regular price will be $85. Proceeds benefit the Austin Food & Wine Alliance's $30,000 culinary grant program.
