Plywood Roundup: Pacific Rim Takes Over The Dojo, Corazon Progress, More

1) A new restaurant called Pacific Rim will take over the former Dojo space at 183 and Burnet Road. The sushi and yakitori bar has a pretty amazing website, and they've already posted both their brunch and happy hour menus. Expect dim sum, yakitori skewers, and salsa dancing in December 2014. 2) The Corazon apartment building is coming together, with permits up for the new Spartan Pizza brick and mortar, Gelateria Gemelli, and a mysterious new project labeled Hikyo LLC.

3) Roberto San Miguel recently told The Chronicle new fish market and restaurant Mongers will open on East Cesar Chavez by Thanksgiving.

4) Construction is underway in the former Hill-Berts Burgers space at 7211 Burnet for the second Austin location of Twisted Root Burger Co. .

5) New West 6th cocktail and dessert bar Nightcap has received their TABC permits. Their website now features a number of fancy-lookin' desserts.
