Texas French Bread Closed for Renovations

Texas French Bread's co-owner Murph Wilcott has posted a lengthy plywood update on the restaurant's blog. French Bread is currently closed as they knock out some "truly extensive renovations." Over at The Chronicle, Virginia Wood notes that this renovation will pave the way for a big expansion of their food program.

Murph says we can expect a much larger kitchen area complete with a wood-fired grill, dramatically improved bathrooms, beer and wine sales (but still BYOW), and a pleasant outdoor dining space in the garden.
Texas French Bread expects to re-open this weekend or next week, construction and permits depending.
