HILL COUNTRY — Travaasa, a luxury resort outside of Austin, has partnered with Edible Austin to host a culinary weekend January 25 and 26. Called "Jam & Jive," the weekend will feature food workshops with local food artisans like Stephanie McClenny from Confituras and culinary instructor Kate Payne. Participants will also sit down to a dinner prepared by Travaasa executive chef Benjamin Baker. Tickets are $279 for the weekend or $75 for Saturday. All proceeds benefit the Sustainable Food Center.
