Mongers Market + Kitchen Coming This Summer

Virginia Wood at The Chronicle has an update today on the forthcoming fish monger and restaurant from San Miguel Seafood and chef Shane Stark. The project will be called Mongers Market + Kitchen, and construction begins next week on their site at 2401 E. Cesar Chavez. Roberto San Miguel tells Wood that the market will offer fresh gulf seafood both to take home and eat in, and his goal is to offer "boat prices, tableside." They hope to open in early summer. The project was first announced last summer as Pelagic Fish Market.
