Late winter is a golden time for barbecue. The weather is pleasantly cool but not to cold for waiting in line or sitting outside to eat. The urge to eat massive amounts of meat is strong. And the dreaded hoards of SXSW are still months away. The giants of the scene, most notably Franklin, have lifted all boats, but there's still great meat being smoked under the radar. Eater wants to know: Where is Austin's most underrated barbecue?
