Jack Allen's Bourbon Benefit; Hank Shaw Dinner at Foreign & Domestic; Slow Food Happy Hour

OAK HILLJack Allen's Kitchen is hosting a "bourbon bash" to benefit the Lone Star Paralysis Foundation. Chef Jack Gilmore will be offering food pairings with whiskeys like Treaty Oak and Garrison Brothers, and hand-rolled cigars from Bobula Cigar Company will also be available. NORTH LOOPForeign & Domestic will be hosting a few more guest chefs this month. Hunter and cook Hank Shaw will be cooking a special meal along with Dai Due's Jesse Griffiths on Monday, January 27. EAST SIDE — Coffee and beer phenom Wright Bros. Brew & Brew will be hosting the next Slow Food Austin happy hour on Thursday, January 30. Snacks will be available from Easy Tiger and Dishalicious, and the $10 entry fee will help fund Slow Food Austin's education programs. [Eaterwire]
