Chi'Lantro and Austin Beerworks Host a Travel Channel Shoot; Chipotle Fundraiser; Drafthouse Plywood

NORTH AUSTIN — Korean-Mexican fusion food truck Chi'Lantro is teaming up with Austin Beerworks tomorrow to host a Travel Channel shoot featuring Chi'Lantro's kimchi fries. Filming will take place from from 4-6pm at Austin Beerworks, and the truck will continue to serve food until 9pm. Chi'Lantro fans are encouraged to stop by for the filming - the Travel Channel is looking to interview folks. [Eaterwire]

CHAIN CHARITYWIREChipotle will be hosting a fundraiser for the Austin Parks Department tomorrow, January 16, at all of their Austin-area stores. The fast casual chain will donate up to $10,000 of each store's proceeds to help launch the park department's Park Improvement Education Series. The Austin Business Journal has the details.
