Uh oh. Boston just discovered Qui. Now maybe Austin will be flooded with throngs of new Californians AND Bostonians every year. The Boston Globe's Christopher Hughes profiles Qui's "brisk ascendency into the culinary spotlight" and reports that "with the opening of Qui (pronounced 'key'), the chef's signature restaurant, he combines the skill of his Japanese training with the homeyness of his two grandmothers' Filipino kitchens."
