Garden & Gun on Easy Tiger; Satay on Restaurant Redemption; Noble Sandwich Dinner

(NOT SO) DIRTY SIXTHGarden and Gun has a lengthy write-up of Easy Tiger, with an entire paragraph devoted to their dough spanking prowess. Praise goes to their "light and frothy" beer cheese and the "butter-shellacked lovelies" of croissants. The vibe is "slacker" at its best, even if there's an "occasional table-tennis ball caroming into your beer pitcher." [Garden & Gun]

NORTH CENTRALThe Statesman reports that South Asian restaurant Satay will be closed temporarily for its appearance on Cooking Channel's "Restaurant Redemption." Matthew Odam also delivers a rare burn, adding "hopefully the show's producers take a look at the restaurant's website while they're in the overhaul mood."
