(NOT SO) DIRTY SIXTH — Garden and Gun has a lengthy write-up of Easy Tiger, with an entire paragraph devoted to their dough spanking prowess. Praise goes to their "light and frothy" beer cheese and the "butter-shellacked lovelies" of croissants. The vibe is "slacker" at its best, even if there's an "occasional table-tennis ball caroming into your beer pitcher." [Garden & Gun]
NORTH CENTRAL — The Statesman reports that South Asian restaurant Satay will be closed temporarily for its appearance on Cooking Channel's "Restaurant Redemption." Matthew Odam also delivers a rare burn, adding "hopefully the show's producers take a look at the restaurant's website while they're in the overhaul mood."
NORTHWEST AUSTIN — Noble Sandwiches is hosting their monthly dinner this Friday, September 26, at 8pm. The $65 prix fixe is BYOB, and reservations can be made by calling (512) 382-6248 or sending an email. A preview of the menu is below.
