Boneheads Open in Mueller; Co-op Food Court Grand Opening; Downtown Market Dreams

MUELLER — Fast casual seafood and chicken restaurant Boneheads opened today in the Mueller shopping center. The Atlanta-based chain is offering a Facebook coupon if that's your kind of thing. Previously, developer Doug Groves said he didn't think Boneheads had "any competition" in Austin, they are that awesome. [Eaterwire]

CAMPUS — Speaking of grand openings and cheap food, Co-op Food Court, next to the UT Co-op, is holding their grand opening tomorrow, September 26, from 6-9pm. All of their vendors are offering various delectable specials, and there will be music as well. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWN — KUT spoke with David O'Neill of Project for Public Spaces about the possibility of a permanent farmers' market in downtown Austin. O'Neill says, "The elements that are required to make a market successful are here," though this might take the shape of a daily market "in a parking lot" before maturing into a Pike Place-like space.
