If you stop by Swift's Attic, The Vegan Nom, or la Barbecue over the next week, give them our condolences. Bitchin' Kitchen's Nadia G. and her bizarre-but-not-in-a-funny-way television goons invaded all of these places for the pilot episode of her new travel show, edgily named Bite This. The trailer reel is up, and nothing makes any sense. Why is there a long weird interlude about napkins? What on earth are those accents? Do Canadians talk like Russians from New Jersey? At least she didn't rap about "hipster brunch."
The show will air on Tuesday, September 24, at 9:30pm. But surely this hate watch has been enough.
Update! Alison Clem, the GM of la Barbecue, wants to get the word out that working with the show was "a lot of fun," and they brought together a community of Austin trailers that don't usually work together. "Trailer business is not the easiest, and it was a nice moment."
