Back in April news broke that cultishly loved California Burger chain In-N-Out had plans to build a new central Austin location at 4508 N. I-35, near the intersection of Airport Boulevard in the Ridgetop-ish neighborhood. Now the signage is up, dirt mounds are piling up, and this thing is really happening.

Back in April, reps said it would take about four to five months to build the restaurant once construction started, so let's put a soft estimate on January 2014. In-N-Out's first Central Texas location, in Round Rock, is slated to open sometime this fall. Those double double animal style burgers are almost within reach.
