Community Impact reports that Hyde Park Market, Deli And Organic Grocery, known to all as "the flag store," has been forced to take down their flags. According to the city, "the only sign on the property that has a permit is the Shell sign." Owner Tim Hooman is planning on fighting the designation of flags as "signs," and says, "I can't believe they spent the energy, time and tax dollars to come after me for this." The market also has a possible expansion in the works; Hooman is seeking to add 200+ taps and a beer garden to the space. [Community Impact]
