DOWNTOWN — Tonight's Tour de Vin will benefit Austin Food for Life, and one member of the food industry is acutely in need. Leah Ortiz, a server at Uchiko, was in a motorcycle accident a few weeks ago, resulting in an "eight day hospital stay and multiple reconstructive surgeries." Uchiko has donated an omakase dinner for six to tonight's silent auction to benefit her care, and those who can't attend who would still like to help can also donate at her Go Fund Me account. The Tour de Vin is happening at the W Hotel, from 6:30 - 9:30. Tickets are available at the door. [Eaterwire]
DIRTY SIXTH — Easy Tiger is hosting an "Easy Sunday" event this Sunday from 2PM "until the cops shut us down." Hops and Grain will take over the taps with a new Greenhouse brew, and a special pork butt sandwich will be offered. Fairdale Bikes will be hanging out as well. [Do 512]
SOUTH FIRST — Lenoir will preview their James Beard House menu for curious Austinites on September 8th at 6:30 PM. The seven-course, wine-paired dinner will set you back $200, which is a bit of a departure from their $35 prix fixe. [Austin 360]
