The Alamo Drafthouse is asking for feedback about new menu items from their Slaughter Lane "test kitchen," perhaps in response to larger customer concerns. After rolling out a new menu in May that Matthew Odam interprets as "an attempt to create uniform menus across the country," the company has been beset by complaints, including during a Reddit AMA. On the Slaughter Lane thread, much of the feedback so far has boiled down to, "stop trying to be fancy." [Statesman]
