A South Austin man was arrested on terrorism charges after threatening to blow up the Freebirds World Burrito on South Lamar near Ben White. After the manager called the police to prevent Melvin Jones from harassing one of the store's employees, Jones went home and called the restaurant repeatedly, saying things like, "I deal in explosives and you can't watch all Freebirds all the time." The city sent a SWAT team to arrest him "without incident." [Statesman]
