Pour House to Close, Reopen in New Burnet Marketplace

More news from the team behind the Hideout Pub and what is soon to be six other Austin bars. Austin Business Journal reports that a new mixed-use project, tentatively dubbed "Burnet Marketplace," will go up on the current location of the Pour House on Burnet Road, but "plans for the project include a spot for Pour House Pub to occupy."

Pour House confirms that they will close, potentially as soon as the end of the month, and definitely before the October 1 demolition date, and are hoping to re-open within a year. But don't worry about your favorite bartenders and servers: Pour House employees will rotate through the group's other bars until the original spot is back up and running.
