Return of the Zed-i

Zed's, the far north Michael Hsu-designed restaurant and music venue, has been closed since February for a remodel. But they would very much like for you not to forget about them, please. In a email sent to Eater Austin, general manager Michael Robinson said:

"The journey has been long, but with the permits in hand and the contractors lined up, we are set to make some necessary and very overdue modifications that we think will make Zed's better than ever. Currently everything is on track and we hope to be back in business toward the end of September if not the beginning of October."

There will be a brand new executive chef, Adrian Corkill, at the helm, and he will be creating a new menu based on "fresh, local ingredients." Keep an eye on their website or Facebook page for updates.
