Delysia Chocolatier Wins Silver Medals; Pay It Forward with Daniel Curtis

AWARDSWIRE — Austin is so enthralled by our BBQ that it even ends up in our chocolate. Delysia Chocolatier, a local artisan chocolatier, recently took silver medals home from the 2013 International Chocolate Salon Awards for her Salt Lick Dry Rub Bark as well as her Pecan Cayenne Bark. [Eaterwire]

CAMPUS — On August 8th, AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center and Lone Star Paralysis Foundation are joining for the third year to host Pay it Forward with Daniel Curtis, a benefit to raise money for spinal cord injuries, which will include tastings and paired hand-crafted cocktails from Austin's finest chefs and artisans. CENTRAL — Complaining about traffic is every Austinite's favorite pastime. Favor, a start-up delivery service and app that just launched locally, is capitalizing on your laziness and driving disdain by bringing their Favor runners to Austin to deliver any food order – and even groceries – for a flat fee of $7 per trip.
