Happy Qui with Happy Hemp; Italian Wine Dinner at Andiamo's

QUIWIREPaul Qui is looking happy with his Happy Hemp (right). He's the latest chef to incorporate Happy Hemp products in his menu, which includes toasted hemp seeds in his Togarashi (Japanese 7 spice). Other fans include Jack Gilmore from Jack Allen's Kitchen, Bryce Gilmore from Barley Swine and Alma Alcocer-Thomas from El Alma. [Eaterwire]

POP-UPs Chef Carlos Ysaguirre reports that he's still popping up all around town while he scouts locations for his brick-and-mortar dream The Red Wattle. He'll host his third "centennial likes" dinner Sunday, August 4, offering fans a free five course brunch and beverage pairing, which will include umbrage, charred baby octopus, and a smoked mackerel hash.
