As previously mentioned Bufalina, the Neapolitan pizzeria on the East Side, will open its doors tonight at 5:30 p.m. after an almost two year wait. Owner Steven Dilley, a former finance guy who learned pizzamaking in Naples and has been navigating the stormy bureaucratic seas in Austin since 2011, will serve a menu of pizzas and salads. Meats come from Salt & Time and Antonelli's Cheese Shop, and baguettes from Easy Tiger.

Due to an extended soft opening process, there are already a lot of early reviews. Zagat cites a "flawless" Neapolitan crust, Sushi in the ATX writes that the "flavors blew me away," an Eater commenter swears everything is "mouthwatering," and a Yelper says it's the best sit down pizza spot on the East side.
