Dunlap Plans East Side Domination With Ophelia Blue

Bar owner and newly minted restaurateur Bridget Dunlap long ago completed her domination of Rainey Street. Now she fixes her eye on conquering the East Side. Zagat reports today that the team that just last month opened the hotly anticipated Calles Street bistro Mettle is already planning a new East Sixth Street restaurant just under a mile away.

Chef Andrew Francisco says the restaurant will be Italian—Sardinian/Sicilian to be exact—and is scheduled to open next year. It's located next to Dario's in a former upholstery shop. Working title: Ophelia Blue.
