Now that his brother, James Fullilove, has returned to the barbecue joint as manager, Texas Monthly barbecue editor Daniel Vaughn seems to think it's a plausible theory: "Losing one member of a team doesn't always spell doom, but this revelation could certainly account for some of the slip in quality we've seen at Smitty's."
