This plastic-wrapped wonder is Bufalina's pizza oven way back in September 2011.
Pictured at right: that same oven, finally fired up this week as part of the east side Neapolitan-style pizza place's invite-only soft opening, during which owner Steven Dilley and his staff are testing four pies at present, including a beauty of a pizza margherita and a fresca pie topped with arugula and house-made mozz, both dressed with a show-stopping olive oil.
Dilley tells Eater Austin that they'll officially open the doors July 18, beginning dinner service Wednesday through Sunday.
