Billy Caruso, a partner and beverage and events director for the 24 Diner and Easy Tiger group, has made a move to Chicago to work as executive chef at the III Forks steakhouse there—III Forks was one of Caruso's early gigs after graduating from the CIA in New York. "Austin is home," he tells Eater Austin, but Caruso says he "missed the kitchen so much" and "needed a change of pace." He says he's still involved with the local group, which is set to open its Arro French bistro later this year: "I will be back in Austin." [Eaterwire]
