RIP — Thirty-three year old Walt Powell, director of operations (and exceedingly nice guy both on and off the clock) at Flix Brewhouse died on Tuesday, and former Statesman booze beat writer Patrick Beach remembers him in this blog post. Powell's friends will drink to his memory tonight at the Draught House at 6 p.m. [Austin360]
