"You can only go so far in your quest to become the queen of the bars on Rainey Street," said a lawyer representing a family suing Dunlap's Lustre Pearl for overserving patrons. Both Lustre Pearl and Dirty Sixth watering hole the Blind Pig (which isn't owned by Dunlap) are being sued by two families of two deceased men, "saying they over-served their sons' drivers." Another Dunlap joint, Clive Bar, is also accused of over-serving a Texas legislative aide who later killed a woman in a hit-and-run. [Statesman]
