Here's your first glimpse of Bryce Gilmore's Odd Duck brick-and-mortar, which will open later this year in the same location as the original trailer and just up the road from Gilmore's Barley Swine. The restaurant was first announced over a year ago, and back then the plan was for a 120-seat restaurant with a patio ("views of downtown Austin"!) that serves "intensely local, seasonal fare prepared by the restaurant's wood fired oven and grill and an extensive in-house bread program."
A rep for the restaurant tells Eater Austin they're shooting for a Fall opening, pending permit shenanigans. Below, more photos of the exterior.
