Sattler Wine Dinner At Lenoir; Uncle Billy's Expands

BARTON SPRINGS — Now that Texas has passed new, more lenient craft beer laws, Uncle Billy's Brew & Cue is expanding. Per a press release sent yesterday, they'll "begin selling 16 oz. cans of its award-winning craft beer through a small craft distributor to specialty stores and kegs to select craft beer lover's tap walls in Austin." EAST SIXTH — Tonight aspiring star bartenders will compete at the Volstead for a chance to compete at the USBG's Mixing Star finals at Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans next month. Tonight's regional finals roster includes locals Justin Elliott, presently of Qui, and Midnight Cowboy's Brian Dressel. [Eaterwire]
