Container Bar Construction To Start Soon?; Burger Nails

EAST SIDE — Apparently Fox News is running content from Maxim and apparently Maxim thinks Franklin Barbecue (a, uh, "fresh upstart") is the best barbecue "hot spot" in the whole country. [Fox News/Maxim]

RAINEY STREET — Last week, the Austin Business Journal reported that Lustre Pearl owner Bridget Dunlap had plans to physically move the bungalow to make room for condos; today, it's more of a "metaphysical" move. She also says that on May 3rd, she actually seriously got the permit to begin building Container Bar, which she announced plans for back in 2011, and she's hoping for an opening date of "the fall."
