Searsucker, the Austin outpost of San Diego cheflebrity Brian Malarkey's growing chain of sartorially named restaurants, softly opens tonight at 5:30 p.m. The restaurant is part of Malarkey's "fabric of social dining" concept: "exceptional dishes, uniquely crafted cocktails and fun, upbeat music." As for the menu? Malarkey told Eater Austin back in April that he likes "big, bold flavors that are presented in an unpretentious way." [Eaterwire]
