The Austin Chronicle's Wes Marshall reviews Rebecca "The Pastry Queen" Rather's Pink Pig out in Fredericksburg. In it, he finds an "ideal place to stop for a lovely lunch or dinner while traveling the various tasting rooms along Hwy. 290." He likes the fried beet salad and the pulled pork on fry bread special, "swimming in a sauce made from Garrison Brothers bourbon." For dessert? He calls the chocolate salted caramel bar with vanilla ice cream "a decadent and robustly flavorful way to end the meal." [Austin Chronicle]
