Reading glasses at the ready! It's time for another round of grainy photos of the Jeffrey's menu. This time, a tipster sends along photos of the newly reopened Clarksville restaurant's bar menu, which is far less steaky than the dining room menu.
If you're dying to try Jeffrey's but don't have any wealthy relatives dying to leave you dinner money, eating at the bar looks to be a fine option, particularly during weekday happy hour (literally, one hour: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.), when drinks are $2 off and the menu is 25 percent off.
On the beverage side: find cocktails at $12-$14, including a classic Stinger and a Royal Bermuda Yacht Club Cocktail, a $28 bottle of Brooklyn Brewery Sorachi Ale, or a lowly Budweiser for $5. Food offerings include salads from the dinner menu and bar-only items, such as an $18 burger, "wood roasted canoe-cut marrow bones" and a $28 "pan-fried tenderloin paillard."
