New Food Truck Alert

Attendees of the Austin Food & Wine Festival may have noticed an unfamiliar food truck parked in Butler Park this weekend: Say laV. It's a kind of trial-run truck in advance of a brick-and-mortar called laV, to open somewhere on the east side this fall. For now, chef Allison Jenkins' truck is parked at the Hotel Vegas/Volstead Lounge space on East Sixth Street, serving an "ever-changing," locally sourced menu "inspired by French and Mediterranean cuisine."
