In last week's Austin Chronicle, reviewer Rachel Feit lamented the counter service at Rosedale's épicerie, which serves upscale, French-inspired food to people who wait in what she called "long and slow" lines.
Counter service seems to draw selective ire—Eater Austin rarely hears complaints about waiting in line at Quality Seafood or even Ramen Tatsu-Ya, but get people talking about Hopdoddy and the queue-hate increases mightily.
We want to know: is counter service the worst thing ever? Discuss in the comments or send us your thoughts down the tipline.
