In-N-Out has applied for permits to build a central Austin location of the California-based burger chain at 4508 N. I-35, near the intersection of Airport Boulevard in the Ridgetop-ish neighborhood. Community Impact is on it:
Carl Van Fleet, the vice president of planning and development for In-N-Out Burger, said the location is a good fit for the burger chain. "It is a great site in a vibrant area with good proximity to I-35. ? We're really enthusiastic about the opportunity there," he said.No opening date has been set for the fast-food spot and there's (obviously) some work to be done before construction can start, but it should take about five months to build the restaurant. In-N-Out's first Central Texas location, in Round Rock, is slated to open sometime this fall.
