Are Frozen Fries A Crime Against Frymanity?

Today's Friday Open Thread will hereby be known as Fryday Open Thread, for across the Eater nation, our sister blogs are talking hot potatoes. When we asked Eater readers to tell us about their favorite fries in town, a number of y'all lamented the frozen French fry, while others insisted that as long as the final product is flavorful, frozen is just fine.

So let's settle this once and fry all. Tell us, in the comments or down the tipline, whether frozen French fries are a crime against frymanity. (And look, we're also open to debating the over-ness of truffle oil, too.)
