Everybody panic, the Austin Food & Wine Festival is moving just two weeks before the event! But only across the street to Butler Park. It seems the dusty drinks and gritty grub of yesteryear haven't been forgotten. Via an announcement on the festival's website this morning:
Due to the current condition of the grounds at Auditorium Shores, the Austin FOOD & WINE Festival is moving across the street to the beautiful green grass of Butler Park. The festival map will be released next week, and will still feature all the same demo tents, H-E-B Grand Tasting Pavilion, Tasting Room, Savor Lounge, and more.Festival-goers will still enter on Riverside Drive, and "the Liz Carpenter Fountain and Doug Sahm Hill will be open to the public for families to enjoy throughout the weekend."
